Blue Pond is a man-made pond feature in Biei, Hokkaido, Japan. It is the result of works on the Biei River, carried out after the 1988 eruption of Mount Tokachi, to protect the town of Biei from volcanic mudflows.
The Asahiyama Zoo is a municipal zoo opened in July 1967 in Asahikawa, Hokkaidō, Japan, and is the northernmost zoo in the country. In August 2004, over 320,000 people visited the zoo, the second highest number of visitors among all the zoos in Japan.
Sapporo Clock Tower is a wooden structure and tourist attraction, located at North 1 West 2, Chūō-ku, Sapporo, the largest city on the island of Hokkaidō, northern Japan.
Otaru Canal (小樽運河, Otaru Unga) was a central part of the city’s busy port in the first half of the 20th century. Large vessels were unloaded by smaller ships, which then transported the goods to warehouses along the canal.

Full Itinerary – 6D4N Japan Autumn in Hokkaido Tour (Japan)

Day 1 – Arrival > Kuala Lumpur > Chitose

Assemble at KLIA, and then depart to to Hokkaido, Chitose Airport.

 

Day 2 – Chitose > Furano > Biei > Asahikawa

Furano Cheese Factory –  Observe the production process of the local camembert type cheese from behind windows. Cheese samples can be tasted in the factory shop.

Furano Wine Tasting –  You can learn about the wine production process and view the aging warehouses as well as taste wine samples.

Tomita Farm –  One of the most beautiful attractions in Hokkaido. There are beautiful, colourful flowers of different varieties in each flower fields.

Biei Patchwork Hill –  Seasonal crops of all colors creates a patchwork effect on the hills of Biei. 

Blue Pond –  Bright blue colour caused by sunlight hitting particles in the water which creating a uniquely beautiful.

Day 3 – Asahikawa > Sapporo

Asahiyama Zoo –  A zoo featuring fascinating exhibits showing the behavior of the animal in the natural habitats.

Otokoyama Sake Brewery –  The spacious complex offers a view of the sake making process and a sake museum. 

Ramen Village –  Eight of Asahikawa’s most well known ramen shops in one place. Asahikawa is known for its shoyu (soy sauce) based broths.

Sapporo Clock Tower  –  The bell rings every hour to announce the time to the city. A historical structure that watches over the progress of Sapporo.

Odori Park –  It’s a city oasis around 1.5km long with a good view of Sapporo TV’s power.

Hokkaido’s Former Government Building  –  It’s known as ‘red brick office’. The building is an example of American neo-baroque architecture.

Tanukikoji Shopping Street –  A huge attraction for tourists where you can get local souvenirs, snacks and duty free shops.

 

Day 4 – Sapporo

Half day walking tour with tour guide in Sapporo area.

 

Day 5 – Sapporo > Otaru > Kitahiroshima

Kyogoku Fukidashi Park –  It is well known as one of the “top 100 best natural mineral water sites in Japan”.

Nikka Whiskey –  One of Japan’s top whiskey makers. It have been recognized to rank among the world’s best single malt whiskies and have won numerous awards.

Otaru Canal –  A narrow romantic waterway for the present and past.

Glass Work street shops  –  Home style glass works make highly popular souvenirs in Otaru.

Otaru Music Box Museum –  It is packed with music boxes playing charming melodies. Collections includes musical glass work, ceramics and woodcraft.

Shiroi Koibito Chocolate Factory Park  –  Famous for the their cookies all over Japan. The Park also features the “Chocolate Carnival”, a parade of mechanical dolls, which begins at the top of every hour. 

Mitsui Outlet Park  –  Ith has over 400 brand outlet stores selling not only fashion items but sporting, outdoor and interior goods.

 

Day 6 – Kitahiroshima > Chitose Airport

After breakfast, transfer to airport. It is the end of a pleasant and memorable trip.
